This 40’x62’ bank style barn was built in 1864 as the great Civil War was coming to an end. All the handhewn beams are nice 9”x10” beech wood. A rare double stack center beam allowed for a team of horses to turn the wagon around in the barn without hitting a center upright. The OVBS crew dismantled the frame in March of 2017. We reset the frame in September of 2017 in Wakeman Ohio. It will be used as a worship center at Bellweathers Farms retreat being developed by the Episcopal Diocese of Cleveland.
