This barn measuring 30’x60’ sat quietly on a small knoll in the Danville area for over 180 years. All the beams in the barn were white oak and measured a full 12”x12”. This barn had a very principle rafter roof design where large timbers where spaced 8’apart and the rafters were laid over the roof carriage. This frame was carefully dismantled by the OVBS crew in 2014. It is now a new showroom /venue barn located in Knox County. One of many historic barns located by Ohio Valley Barn Salvage.
