This ground level barn located in Marion Ohio was built in 1878. All of the beams were nice size 8”x9” handhewn beams. The roof design was queen post where the uprights to carry the midrafter roof plate went straight up instead of an angle. This gives the new owner a lot more options for 2nd story living space. OVBS removed all the rafters by hand and the barn frame was carefully dismantled. This barn went to Delaware Ohio as a venue barn.
